Guard & Reserve Booklet

This booklet has two main goals. The first is to provide general information about both the National Guard and the Reserves, two of the three components of the United States military. The second and more important goal is to introduce concerned citizens and educators to issues facing children and families of those serving in these critical segments of the military and to assist communities in creating dynamic networks of support for these families. The booklet is meant to give you a foundation foe enacting considerate and thoughtful efforts in your own community that will augment the support provided by the military for its members. A few ideas are provided to get you started but the possibilities are endless.
